Had a pretty good time fishing for smallies in the Sheboygan river chains by Plymouth wi area.
No bass but lots of northern at at the park by rockville. One keeper so far 27 inches
Fished at the park by rockville. This morning got 2 bass and one northern. All small. Then went out tonight about 4 and got 5 nice large mouth bass and 2 northern both 22 inches. The pic is one of the large mouth bass from tonight. Still kinda small. Nothing i would keep. I was out looking to catch white bass and rock bass but either the person that told me they are in there lied or they just havnt moved in yet
Went to the river and fished in many spots. Fished at Kiwanis Park and Hingiss Park. The river current was little to none. There were weeds everywhere. Caught a 12" largemouth and a 16" Pike on a small curly tail worm. Then moved to Kiwanis and fished the visible deep pools in this extremely shallow section of the river. Not any signs of bass. I could visibly see many big carp, bluegill, crawfish, and catfish. Right below the dam there are large pools where some decent bluegill sit at.
