Ended up with about 8 nice bluegills fishing with small worms off my pier on the north side of the lake. Saw lots of people fishing during the day, but didn't see anyone catch anything when I was out in the kayak or the boat. Was a beautiful weekend at the lake.

Actually saw someone out later that day in the center of the Lake Ice Fishing. Not sure I'm that brave/stupid.
Ice was going quickly with the warm air and wind.

Ice was pretty good with little snow on it. Was close to 5" by the end of the week.
Fishing was pretty slow but did seem to pick up as the week went on.
The boat launch is blocked by a big downed tree

Had a few hits on floating frogs at the lilly pads on the west end, but nothing to show for it.
Did catch a small Walleye on a silver jig, just trying something different.
We did not hook up with any big gills, but wasn't really targeting them.

My daughter caught a nice large mouth on a spinner around 5PM. Only thing caught with three people fishing.
It needs to warm up a bit to get the fish going.
