I spotlighted a few weeks ago and saw very few small walleye, gills, perch and bass. won't be back. Sad that most lakes stink around that part of the state! Nothing like it was 40 years ago when I was a kid with my dad.

Fished may 25, morning to evening. Beautiful Clearwater lake! Shame the fish a small. Pulled about 12 bass in the boat, most with black spot. Nothing over a pound. Locals say lake as fished out at one point, so lack on any siZe on the fish. Lots of action with pork tails.

Have not fished it in a couple years. At that time walleyes were abundant and were small. Check out the regs on this lake it used to have a goofy regulation for walleye. We also caught a few perch never to many but of decent size. Moslty Hy-bred bluegills and some of the biggest snapping turtles you have ever seen. never had much company when we ice fished there so we would set our tip-ups off the points in 5-6 ft. Sure is a neat place to fish.

fished this lake for the first time last weekend. Got a couple a nice perch, but only got out for 2 hours. Does anyone know how the walleye bite is out here, and if there is a good spot to go for panfish?
