Fished yesterday afternoon 12/6. At least 5 if not 6 inches of ice. Caught a bunch of bluegills and crappies mostly small but a few nice ones mixed in.

Caught several 9 1/2 inch crappie, numerous marks on sonar. Snow make travel by truck difficult and water on top in several places.
Crappie's and Bluegill's have been biting real well and size of them have been bigger than first ice. 8" gills and up to 12" crappies.
We threw everything in the book at them and fished until 7:30pm. Saw some schools around the hump but couldn't raise a single fish. Saw some fish on the West shore but again, no bites.
A lot of run off is keeping the temp way down on these small lakes. The temp was way colder on the north end (36-38') vs. south end (41-47).
