Jim Jack they should be.  Was out on a lake close by this past weekend and did well. Artificial bait was the ticket. Video of how we got em below.  Should be a good weekend for crappie in the northwoods.

The warm weather sure helped with the snow pack and travel on the lake, driving anywhere with the SxS was no problem. The weather did not help the fish bite, 4 perch at 8" and a ton of small perch and gills,

Roberts lake continues to be in poor shape. lot's of snow cover with slush. I walked out about 100 yd and had water in every foot step, this heavy snow cover is not helping. Jungle lake was in the same condition, no one fishing the lake yet.

Awesome turn it into a great walleye lake catch and release first 2 years. Gives them a chance to grow.

What size are the walleye, that are being stocked. I don't use or have Facebook, so I can't see the lake association information about all this talk.
