Had a great day on the water today with 5 keeper walleye's. We also had some nice perch and crappie. Two slot fish and about eight smallies between 18-20" , what a battle. We had about 20 shorts also. We caught our keeper's in 8-10' of water on mud humps with wood. Slip bobbers with leeches and jigs with half crawlers were the key.

Finally made it out to the Rainbow this morning . It was flat calm most of the morning except for a few times with a little breeze. I had Tom from Arbor Vitae with me. We caught walleyes, perch, and northern on most spots we fished. 12 walleyes a few nice perch came on leeches, fatheads, and crawlers. Some on slip bobbers and a few more jigging.

Getting ready for the opener in my new boat. Should be an early ice out. I think it's going to be a good bite! I still have some May openings.

Well what do I do on my day off..of course go fishing! Haven't been on here in a while and with an upcoming booking I went out for a few hours.  Itit was pretty much non stop action. I had three keeper walleyes, several smalls, and a nice 22" slot fish. I caught my personal best 22 1/4" back reeling-jumping smallmouth. I also caught 3 crappies including a 15 incher I let go. A few perch and of course a bunch of bullheads. All of the fish were caught on channel edges with slip bobbers tipped with leeches and one half crawler. I also jigged with one half crawler.

I also have a few openings this week!

Had a pretty good day out there yesterday with my buddy Dennis. Couldn't get that elusive last keeper but had about 20 shorts . They were really tight lipped . The perch were really tough and were full of soft shell crawfish. All fish we're caught on edge's in 14-17' of water on half crawler's and slip bobber's with medium leeches. Even had a extra bonus 20 1/2" smallie CPR.

Had a pretty good day today with Mark and Laurie. Almost all of our fish we're caught on night crawler's on slip bobber's and jigging. They were caught in 14-16' of water on sand with wood. Had 4 monster smallies pushing 20" CPR. Also had about 20 shorts.

Woot shoo:

At some point in time some one started a second one, then someone did a posting on the newer one, so I brought up the old one...  There is some really good old info on the old one and it seems to make sense to use one, whether it the old one or the new one...
