Hey Boys...Jory Here from Monas Ark Guide Service...Delavan Bluegill specialist! I do not guide in winter...I like fishing the middle of Pleasant lake but do not have a Machine...I'm 70 and cant pull My shanty, auger, buckets...etc...so what I am asking is anybody interested in hauling my  Gear out to the middle....and take me back in again at sundown. Fishing the deep ( 30 ft) water is usually productive...and for this I will trade 1/2 price trips on Delavan in June/July. This is worth $$$ so its a good deal for you guys. Message me if you would like to help me out!!!  Thanks, Jory

svitreum. It's been a few years since I was out there at this time of the year but I found action drifting from shore to shore. Simple hook and split shot with a small chunk of crawler or a big red worm fishing about 12-15' down. Size class that year was running about 7 1/2" within some dinks thrown in. I like the Truturn #9 gold hooks. Like I said, it's been at least seven or eight years and things can change but what I said worked for me. Just pick a day with light winds for the drift unless you own a drift sock. Good luck and tight lines.

I have a new kayak that I would like to take out on Pleasant for gill fishing. I have only had it out once on a smaller lake close to home, and did very well in the middle of the lake (21') fishing 2-5 feet off of the bottom. I am wondering if Pleasant is worth it to fish gills like this. I've heard the pannies run small and pentiful. If anyone has a thumbs up or thumbs down I would love to hear about it. I've never fished it even though it's not far from my house. Message me if you prefer and thanks.

I have not been on this lake since I was 16. 33 years ago. Very beautiful lake. I was happy that I caught a couple fish while testing out my new boat. The only downside is the parking. Get there early

awesome morning...fish were hungry. Fished the north around to east shore. Limited out on Largies. Let 10 times as many go to get bigger. Caught just about every other species as well. Used worms and plastics, it didn't seem to matter what we threw at them.

Hello all, was looking at getting out to pleasant this weekend. I know reports said 6” of ice but I was wondering if the center of the lake is crossable by foot. Looking to get to the north side of the lake from the launch. Feel free to pm. Looking to go early morning if any fellow fisherman want to join! Thanks!

Tight lines!

Looks like someone tested their luck on an atv recently. Checked ice today and slush is nice and firmed up, didn't get a chance to fish. Almost 7" where I put the spud through
