Fished on 5/16/20 There was heavy traffic on the lake and NO ONE caught anything! Anglers on the lake were mostly professional. Each seemed to have their favorite spots. Spoke to several of the anglers and no one caught anything.

Stopped to see if the ice was out and looks like it got hit with winter kill pretty hard. Landing was full of dead bluegills and there was dead fish along the shoreline in both directions as far as I could see.
Never fish this in the winter before, is it better to fish the first part of the lake, or the 2nd part of the lake in the deeper during ice fishing?
I fished on Monday the 20th. Fishing was good, caught 12 keeper bluegill, but no pike or bass. The bite slowed at 11. Used waxworms as bait.
How’s the fishing out here? Looking to try somewhere different, getting sick of the lake I fish now lol
I know the ice on the first lake is thick enough, but does anyone know how well the channel freezes up between the 1st and 2nd lake. If possible I would like to drive a full size truck to the 2nd lake tomorrow. Thank you.

Good ice but very slow on tip ups
Fished from 1:00 'til dark on Sunday. Tried both the first and second lakes. Very slow. A couple of small perch and a bluegill. Nothing on tip-ups. Good ice but slippery with no snow cover. Cleats are a must.

Slow today but ice is good
