Sun warmed up Silver Lake over the weekend, just in time to get gills up shallow and into nets. Transplanted 600-800 to Pauquette Park pond. Some fat bullheads, crappies too. Kids fishing day next Sunday, put on by Elks Club.

Osprey been raiding the pond lately, they are welcome to a few also.

Musky Club is no more but, couple buddies, my son and I hauled nets full of gills, crappies and one huge yellow bullhead to the Pond for the kids to have a sure chance at some fish in a couple weeks.
Borrowed nets again, got permits and Sunday we hauled 700+ gills from Silver Lake (jam packed with tiny gills) dumped em in the park pond for next weekend Elks Club Kids fishing day.

Due to Viral Hemoragic Septiciemia scare, DNR will not allow transport of live fish anywhere at this time.
I expect there are plenty in there yet but, always nice to dump a few more in to be sure.
Kids fishing day June 3rd.
