Bringing the family up fishing in early September bass fishing. I heard it is a tough lake to fish. Anybody have any tips or advice for early fall bass fishing on Okauchee?? Any info greatly appreciated

Out yesterday for a few hours in the afternoon. Very pleasant conditions and not too many speed boats out. We fished outside of weed beds, points and shorelines. Used buzz baits, spinnerbaits, plastic frogs, and vibes for deeper water. One bite in three hours of fishing. Picked a lot of weeds off our lures.
We’ll be back and try in the evening or early morning next time. Good luck and enjoy your time on the water.
add stumpy bay shores for carp shooting too
Anyone see any carp lately? We have a boat to come and get some but are limited to a trolling motor so any carp filled spots near a landing would be perfect. Would love to come get some. The larger sized carp, the better. Feel free to message me. Thanks!!
Tierney is more of a night bite for crappie. Try to get out there before sun up. I do best with lighted bobbers. Bass are without a doubt biting all day. If you can fit your boat under the tiny bridge, theres 4 to 5 lb bass back there. Please practice catch and release
