Used to go out and fish till october no problem. Now grass clogs up prop as soon as duck season gets going.

Well duck season has started and that means that the mud motors have torn up a lot of weeds and they seem to be floating everywhere. I can't complain as I duck hunt also, but dang it sure makes it tough to fish! If you can keep a bait free the fish are hungry putting on the fall feed.
The LaCrosse municipal boat harbor is back behind the brewery. Big landing with many wingdams both directions up and down stream. Satellite view on Google Maps shows it. Good area for multiple species.
I got ask to do this 60 sec. video on the what the clock looking dial is at the dam, hope this helps.
Thanks Charipar. I am heading up this weekend and staying right in Lacrosse. I was looking for closest and easiest. Not that familiar with whole area. Fished Dresbach dam a few times. Taking grandson out for perch and bluegill. Just looking for some launches that are good for 18' boat. May head down to Stoddard.
Is there a general area of wing dams you are looking to fish? If you tap on the map icon on this thread-Navionics map shows wing dams (black lines) and launch locations (brown color ramp icons).
Where is the best launch in the lacrosse General area to access wing dams?
Good information, just watched it... Will post my results. And thanks to all who have shared ... Also thanks to BOB crappies , now I know what the markers on the side of the pilings mean.
Overboard, if you scroll down and watch Bob Crappie’s short video you can see how clear the water is that he just posted. It looks like he’s in the Stoddard area.
Squishy80, appreciate the info.
