It can be done but all dams must be closed. 2019 with the high spring and fall it was barley closed. Your better off launching a kayak or canoe. People have died at this location trying to wade. My uncle saved a mans life back in the late 90's.  Watched a little kid and his brothers wade across and the little kid went under and didnt come up for about 5 seconds when he did he was 10 feet away from where he started. And all you can do is watch em. If you do wade this know where to cross and know where the deep areas are. I never wear waders at this location. I've ended up going for a swim myself. Long story short it can be done but very dangerous. Just get a kayak. Be safe.

Gerhardt I would wait until they close some of them gates before fishing at the Menasha dam with all the fast water. Neenah dam might be a better choice. If you try fishing any of the bays or little creeks around here is a good bet. I've been getting a lot of Perch Bluegill and Crappie lately.

A three way rig, with a plain hook, floating jig, or fly works well. Tip hook with a minnow or live bait of your choice. Pretty basic shore setup for around here.

I have been fishing the Fox up in Depere and haven't done great but been using Clam plastic minnows. The few fish I have caught up there have been hammering it, and the few I have missed bit multiple times. I think its a great bait to keep in the box.
