Gerhardt I would wait until they close some of them gates before fishing at the Menasha dam with all the fast water. Neenah dam might be a better choice. If you try fishing any of the bays or little creeks around here is a good bet. I've been getting a lot of Perch Bluegill and Crappie lately.

A three way rig, with a plain hook, floating jig, or fly works well. Tip hook with a minnow or live bait of your choice. Pretty basic shore setup for around here.
Can someone recomend me on how to fish here and what to use as bait for the species in the river and lake. I just immigrated from South Africa and to be completely honest I dont have a clue!! It would be great to hear from who ever is able to teach me.....
We were using chartreuse jig with kalins lunker grub color was pearl blue pepper caught at Fiske park on bridge, Rosie reds catching perch today.
I have been fishing the Fox up in Depere and haven't done great but been using Clam plastic minnows. The few fish I have caught up there have been hammering it, and the few I have missed bit multiple times. I think its a great bait to keep in the box.
i have been fishing here for a while but only cuaght 6 walleye
any tip on what baits/plastics to use thanks
What time did you start this morning?
Fished for a while this morning and caught 4 walleye and lost 2.
I went out on Saturday to try to get some eyes. The bite was very slow, but the sheepshead wouldn't stop being caught. We ended up catching a nice sized sheepshead. If you want to go check out my video click here.
The fishing can far better on the falls side than the dam side. I've fished it a bunch of times years ago.
