Muskie Kid we just got back from fishing Lynx Lake out of Zastrow's Resort. This is a hard lake to fish with all the structure present on the lake map but after talking to some other fisherman at the resort, none of us has had any luck fishing any of it.I will tell you where I have had the best success. This lake is mainly a smallmouth bass and walleye lake with good musky and very few panfish of any size. The best area of the lake is the west shoreline from right in front of the resort down to the first island. There are dozens of cribs that hold smallmouth bass during the day. These cribs are located in 10 ft of water with some being marked with a bleach bottle under the surface. The fish on this lake relate to wood so look along the shoreline for any downed timber and cast right into it with a jig. Also try the southeast point of the first island on west shoreline at dusk for walleye.Last week I caught smallmouth up to 21",walleye up to 18",one 40" musky, and many small panfish around the cribs.I hope this helps you out but since you are going up later in the year conditions could change.
