Does anybody know where the deepest part of the lake is?  Seems like an interesting little lake and I would like to try it.

The future in-laws live on this tiny lake so I thought I would give it a try!!! Fished a few hours in the late morning/early afternoon hours and got these two 34 inchers on a spinner and also got a nice 10 inch perch.....went out later with the whole family and together we got 2 more pike...33....27...lots of dink perch......and some small bass!! Most of the lake is a muddy goo...but there is a deeper hole about 6-8 ft deep where all the action was!! If you have a carry in boat that is the only way onto this lake.....it does have a small landing but it is all rutted up and verrrry shallow!!

Fished today for about an hour. Heard about this little lake from a few guys at work. Didn't have any luck. Does anyone know what this lake is like structure wise? Doesn't sound like it is very deep.

Fished 4/30/05. Fished for about a hour. Caught a bunch of tiny gills and 1 small bass. Should have went to the Menominee River.

Peace,

GDC

I hope the DNR is wrong about possible freeze out this year due to the snow. This warm spell should hel;p melt some of it

We have a place on Long Lake. The water level is as high as we've ever seen it. There was a period of 5-6 years where the water level steadily decreased. Even during the low water level years I did not seen any fish die off. Fished it a couple of weeks ago and only caught small gills. The deepest part we found was 8ft.

When was the last time you were out there? It's been really low the last couple of years and it has affected the fishing. The deepest spot in the lake is only about 6 feet. I talked to the warden in the area and this year with all the snow, they are worried about freeze out.
