I was in the area on Sat and tried a bit of shore fishing on “Little Arb”. It took a while to find an area I thought might hold fish but when I did I caught ~30 fish. SMB, LMB and two walleyes.
31° - 35° F
Was out today. Fished the whole north side of the lake. Covered a lot of water. Marked a few, no takers.
Anyone been on the ice yet?
If you're looking to get him out on the ice, this lake is accessible by vehicle as guys have been driving trucks out for weeks. Many of the same ones day-after-day, after-day, after-day, after-day. All going back to the same spot. We've usually only fished it for walleyes, but if you find where the crowds are you should be on some fish. There are a couple of guys who simply fish no more than 50 yards off the landing. Good luck!
Wondering if anyone can help me out. My son is in a wheel chair and has been asking me repeatedly if I can take him up north and catch some big pan fish. I bought him a nice ice rod for Christmas and he wants to catch some good sized fish. Don’t plan on keeping any all catch and release. But wondering if anyone can tell me if they are biting on this lake or Atleast point us in the right direction that would b awesome. It’s kind of difficult getting him out on the ice so if anyone can help point us in the right direction so I can get him out and set up on some nice sized fish I’d greatly appreciate it.
Thank you, tight lines
That is definitely a pike.
