Does anyone know why they drained the pond again?  Last I knew they were restocking it and more it's empty again.

Not a report, but what a blast from the past. I remember being a kid and hanging out in Leland at Beottcher's bar for Friday night fish frys. I fished this lake with my dad while growing up usually in the winter. If anyone heads here to fish be sure to stop in and see JR at Sprecher's bar. Have him make you a summer sausage sandwich and get ready for the bull*&^% to fly! Big Smile

Fished with a friend of mine yesterday. Caught 4 northern below the dam 3 being around 23" and one was 38 1/2". What a day to forget the camera. All fish still swimming. Oh yeah and to all the people about to say "the season isn't open" if you are below the dam it is considered part of the Wisconsin river system.
