Rooster, just the same as you described. I marked lots of fish in water deeper than 30 feet in each of the three lakes today, between 15 and 35 feet depth. No bites, no idea what they were. Drifted through these areas. What are these fish?

Dropped boat in at aprox 8:30 am.. fished till after lunch.. not even a weed..i hit the deep edges as described as holding Walleye in Fall.. Used sucker minnows.. used lindy rig type harness with weight to bring to bottom.. no luck but fish finder loaded with markings of fish.. Then moved to deep off Mill lake.. again no luck in 40 feet of water . then went for a quick run over to the Boy Scout camp.. again fish finder loaded but not a bite. I don't know what these fish wanted I switched to a crawler and harness to get a nibble but no luck I am confused what type of fish this is I am seeing that aint hungry. they say fall brings the hungry fish.. well they napping just like Lake Geneva.
