Anyone know the ice conditions for larsons reef? Where does a guy launch?

55" just seems like a long shot, not going by the picture though. Regardless it is a huge fish and probably the nicest Pike I've seen posted in a very long time. Thanks for releasing such a nice fish.

Nice fish I would guess it was close to 45" and 25# .holding it a foot off the ground shoulder level. Very nice fish!

Fished Larsons reef Saturday morning dealing with the high winds and waves. Started at the can and drifted south. Never got a bite. Caught a bunch of gobies, a sheephead, and a then hooked into the biggest northern pike I have ever seen...also the biggest fish I have caught. We estimate the length around 55" (I am 6' tall) and the weight around 30-35lbs. We held it up for a pick and then released it to grow bigger. Smiled as it swam off. Smile

got a late start Fri. night ,9:00 to 11:30 . took out thinwall and son and got 3 wallys on perch glass husky jerks.should have started earlier because got one right after setting up. tried to get an earlier start Sat.night but didn't happen. Went out at 9:00 to 11:30 again but went out way south of Henderson's.4 wallys 18"to 29" 14 fow with perch jerks but changed to orange color jerks. many lost fish half way to the boat. thinwall and son was along again.Should have more time this weekend to be able to fish during the day.

fished larsons reef Sat. night with stickbaits . Ended up with 11 wallys boated and 5 geting of on the way in. they ranged between 18' to 26' long and were in 10' to 12 fow. full moon sure made for a nice night!

fished east side of the reef Sat. morning [7:30 to 11:30> with crank baits. 5 wallys in the boat with 4 shaking loose boatside. 3 sheephead and one 12' perch also. Same lures as last week and same location, cannot believe there no other reports from other boats. tight lines !

Fished alone Sat. 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and they were snapping. 5 wally's in 2 1/2 hrs. perch shad rap ,wally diver, and a matzo crank 80' line out. the shad rap caught 3 and the others one apiece. they were 18" to 25" and caught on the east side humps. had my 4 legged fishing partner along
