Fished this lake for the first time. Ice was about 10 - 12 inches. Tip ups no action. Caught a few small crappie and sunfish. Nothing worth keeping. Fished from 7-1pm.

Hit Lake Seven for the 3rd time this year. Last 2 times out were cloudy and fishing was great with LMB and northerns striking with abandon. Today was sunny and hot and the fish reminded me that I won’t always have my way. Out from 9:30-12 and managed only this one bass, 17’’ and still swimming
To the guys that our attempt of a tourney offended. I am sorry to have upset you. First of all Anglers Avenue doesnt keep any of the money we collect from the tournamnets. Second I took a few reccomendations to fish this Lake since Gerber was iffy so I went with it. Today i went there saw the size of the fish and made the descion were not goona kill a ton of 4-6 inch fish for a tournament. We don't want to create any enemies and thats not what we are attempting to do. If someone has a concern they would like to talk about in my descion making please call Anglers Avenue and ask for Russell. Otherwise i feel that is a great lake and hopefully the fish grow up healthy so you guys who get the oppurtunity to fish it enjoy it!!!
This little pond has had more posts/views today than the last couple years combined! I love a good old fashioned Lake-Link pissing match!
fight, fight..............love having lakelink at work!!!!!!!! makes the day go by
booo hooo wow what a bunch of cry babies shut up and fish and dont worry about everybody else my god what about all you guys out there fishing every day how many fish you got in your freezers i bet you got more then 50 fish .
Next week we will see a bunch of false reports saying how good the fishing is here.
If this lake has been bad for 3 years, why the heck have a tourny on it then? I'm still trying to find any sense in a tourny on 7........ Go try Gerber or Jetzers. lol
I don't think the idea of a tournament is the issue. Its putting 10 pounds of crap in a 5 pound bag. Fact is the lake is small and to have a commercial venue on such a lake is foolish. Saying the local joe blow does not put in to his local waterways??? I belive keeping a such a thing away from this pond is a way. Pimping a lake that is already overfished is our attempt in preserving the little bit of a fishing that still exists there. And besides. Us cry babies are not making $1200 on going out there jigging for our 6 inch crappies. I am pretty sure all you supporters of this tournament would not be in favor if it was a 25 acre woods and I brought out 40 people to push out the deer while you were hunting. Yeah. I could use the good ole' "its public land so......" or "If you don't like it...." But the fact is. Its a mud hole. Not a tournament sustaining lake. Good luck elsewhere!
