I feel like that lakes been that way for past few years always same size pannier never any bigger.classic stunted lake. Maybe they,ll grow up one day
I ice fished there on Sunday moved 4 times, fished from 8ft of water to 15ft of water. Everywhere I went there were 4" gills and 4" crappies. Everywhere I had fun for about and hour. I just got annoyed at the small fish and kept wasting bait.
Exactly what lip rippin said. If you want to catch as many 4 inch bluegill and 6 inch crappies you can handle this is your lake. Every hole I drilled in two days of fishing had 4 inch bluegills all over the lake.
Lake 7 is the victim of lose lips and a keyboard used to be really nice fish in there .
Would anyone be kind enough to share some insight on this lake? Never fished here but I enjoy the feel of smaller lakes. Would like to find some panfish. Feel free to friend request me so we can talk. Appreciate any help.

Hit Seven on a cool, cloudy day with my son hoping the overcast would help the bite. Trolling motor took us around the lake twice in 3 hours and ended up with 2 small bass and 2 northern, including this 29” chunker on a white spinner (still swimming). Did mark several schools of crappie suspended at 12’ in about 20 fow but wasn’t equipped to try for any. I hit this lake enough to know there are nice fish in here, just haven’t had a day where it’s all come together. Guess that’s why we keep coming back.
I was thinking of trying out here tomorrow. Ive never fished it in winter. Is there any springs or areas to avoid because of bad ice?
Anyone poking holes out here yet? Thanks a bunch!
