Lake Mendota

Squaw is in Monona. 

Im going to try to fish squaw bay tomorrow and not sure how good the ice will be after this warm trend. i know its a foot thick the last report said but not sure how good it will be after this weeks temps. and help or info on the ice would be nice. thanks.!

Can someone give me an ice report? Thinking about trying some tip up fishing tomorrow. Thanks!

She was nice and thick over by the Terrace. Plenty of folks out there 

That is crazy. I would've guessed it'd be iced over by now. 

I too am surprised there is open water on Mendota given the very cold temps, but I guess five days of below average temps is not enough given all the warm weather previously. ​It better seal up by the weekend or there is a chance it wont ​fully ice over this year.  

Sigh.  From the webcam.  Don't see a spud bar.  Be wary if you are heading out.
