It would just be nice when the ice is thick enough just to drive thru that access and onto the lake over having to go to the other end and drive out from the launch. Just seems like he’s trying to hog a spot and detour ppl from going there.

Your grandpa's property is one of those that includes an easement to use that access. All of the properties on Echo and Melody lanes can use the access. The easement includes all properties in Government Lot 7, East of Lake Julia Road. I live in that area also, so I use the easement all the time. Parking can be an issue. Since it is an access for ingress and egress only, it could be considered trespassing to leave your vehicle there. But you can certainly park along Lake Julia road, if there is room. Or you can park on Echo Lane. Tell your grandpa he is good to go.
I ran into this guy as well that takes pictures of your plates and calls the cops if u use that access. That’s fine we will just use 4-wheelers and sleds to go out from the boat launch. It isn’t gonna stop us from pounding that lake. Did well last weekend there limited out on gills and crappie. Can’t wait to hit it again. And we did not bring our limit back to the house and go back out for we are 3 hours away
North side of the lake, anytime of the year. I wouldn't normally do this but screw the a** hole who ruined it for everyone, good luck gentlemen.

I don't think you understand Surveyor, the sheriff says it is now privately owned by a few people on the lake and whoever parks on it will get a $250 fine. Which means my Grandpa who lives on Echo a few houses down from that landing can not use it anymore because of what some shady ass did behind peoples backs
Calm down sunshine. That is private land and has been a private lake access since the early 1950s when the land on that side of the lake was subdivided. It has been enforced on and off since then.
is this the lake julia by hwy 8 and 17 or the one by three lakes
Dont use the Northeast landing on this lake anymore, residents on the lake have banded together to make it private and you will be fined for parking on it. Kind of a shady thing to do since they were brainwashed by a certain individual/fishing guide and were told that people were fishing their limit and coming back out for more which is a lie because ive fished that lake for many years pretty hard and have stayed out overnight on the ice and never once saw anything like that. This certain individual is just making trouble and trying to hog a good spot for himself and his clients. Remember that nobody owns the water so you have the right to use the west shore boat landing and drive across the lake with your gear, but please remember to park right infront of the now private access as you wouldn't want your vehicles to possibly fall thru the ice.
