If anyone catches a big northern with a steel leader hanging from it's jaw, my metal swivel snapped off my tip up line in March!!

It was just where BassMan_ said, across from the golf course near shore.

I'm trying to earn it back - I've never fished Hallie in the summer but I'm about to start!

So...the springs on Hallie, are they mainly on the far end away from the boat landing?

It's safe to drive. Just be careful of the springs.

This is going to sound stupid from someone who has lived in EC for over 40 years, but is Hallie safe to drive on.  I have always heard stories about it being full of springs

Mitto, right across from the golf course along the shoreline is good for tip up for northerns.
