Perch are not as abundant as they used to be but this body of water has a good population of bluegill/crappie which has been sustained with a small bag limit...fish the weedlines around the northside of the sand bar to find them...also rock mounds on the south side of Garbutt island is good for walleye around prime time.

Went out on this lake for the first time ever and landed two small perch and two keepers in about an hour. We (father in law and myself) fished right out from the boat landing in about 20fow. Some slippery spots and some slush under snow in spots. We were out there about 2 hours. We left at 4:15 p.m. Can anyone give me any pointers on where to go on this lake for panfish this time of year? I will be fishing this lake more often now that my father in law just bought a cabin near the lake. Thanks for any tips!
