Looking to try doing some bowfishing here with someone who has a boat. Does anyone have any shallow/weedy areas where they see a lot of carp in the summer? How is the water clarity for shooting at night? Thanks in advance, just looking to get rid of some and help out the rest of the gamefish!! Feel free to message me.
Drove over to Bridge yesterday o n April 3rd and everything was wide open as far as I could see didn’t see any boats though !!!
Anyone know if there would be a early spring crappie nite? And any pointers where to start? Thanks (new to crappie fishing, only catch by accidents) I do have side imagaing etc.
You have to access it from Oshkosh or Winneconne. Was open for awhile now. I went from Winneconne to probably about 1/3 way to Oshkosh and back for a small looksie. From the 41 bridge towards Winneconne was open as far as the eye can see so should be open. Seriously watch for ice chunks though. Let me know if you go and catch anything.
I want to take the boat out for a shakedown cruise this weekend. Is the lake free of ice? Thought I would pull some boards
Is it open water by the bridge at herb and dolly smith park? If it is is there anyone there fishing for perch? if so hows the bite been?
Thanks for any info. Tight lines!
I have a question does anyone know how much Ice is on lake butte des morts.
Thinking about coming up and trying around the slips by skipper buds, anybody having any luck around that area? always see guys in there coming over the bride?
Walked off the County — need to watch for open areas by the dock aerators -/ stayed shallow and caught some decent perch
