Heading up there tomorrow, any insight would be great. I've never been up there, targeting Musky and Walleye.
Lac Seul Ear Falls Ontario
Thanks for taking me go down memory lane. Fished Lac Seul many years ago, with great friends. Time to go back. Thanks also for the great fishing information,

Fished 7 great days on Lac Seul out of Ear Falls ON. Lac Seul is primarly walleyes but has northerns, a few perch and small mouth. LacSeul is a stained body of water which provides great walleye fishing during the day even in bright sunshine. The 2 of us trolled 95% of the time with my single hook live bait spinner rigs I make (Mike's Lac Seul Rig) and 2 hook crawler harnesses I make. I make all my spinners with custom painted deep cup Colorado #5 blades from Backwater Custom Tackle. We trolled the spinner rigs between 8' to 18' depending area of lake. We did some jigging with 1/8 oz jigs/minnows with great success also. I have always been a firm believer in trolling live bait spinner rigs because it covers more water, finding the active fish. My catch records also show that we have caught more big walleye by trolling spinner rigs all the way through the fall fishing period. Sometimes we have trouble catching the smaller ones to eat or bring home! For over 20 years I have been staying at Lac Seul's Evergreen lodge Ear Falls ON. Evergreen is a great drive to camp with better fishing than some fly-ins I have been on. Comfortable modern cabins, protected dock area (excellent for fishermen with their own boat). For those fishermen that use "camp" boats, you will be very happy with the 19 ft Starcrafts w/ 60 hp 4 stroke Yamaha's. The best part is these boats are included in the "Fisherman's" package. No additional costs to upgrade to a "deluxe" boat. The StarCraft boats which are included are better than the so called "deluxe" boats at other camps that charge hundreds of dollars extra for. Camp boat or your boat there is some gas and bait included in the package. Why Fly when you can drive to Great walleye fishing Lac Seul's Evergreen Lodge
