Keesus Lake

Last video from the 2022 season It was a good one to end the year on. Cant wait to get back out here this year. Its right around the corner! 

Another fishing video from 2022. This is just a quick one since we got rained out. Put a nice Pike in the boat though.
 

Well, if anyone found a rod box either on the lake or the launch please let me know. I can describe it and what was in it. Lost at the fisheree. 

I drilled a few holes about 25 yards out from the launch last Saturday and it was about 8 inches of ice. 

Also, there is a fishing derby on Keesus this Saturday.

Jonnymax the public launch has a gate to keep vehicles out, you can walk around it or go under

Thanks Fish Sticks.  I'm curious how you access the lake.  Do you have permission?  Or is the launch accessible to the public?  I was under the impression that it was closed during the winter.

Going clockwise

North Bay is the fatherst north by Campwitcomb

Marshall is the main bay to the right of the public launch

Rice is the smallest to the left of the launch

Bull is the next to the left of Rice

Marquardt is to the west by Jacks Back Bay Bar

any updates on the ice conditions?  Was thinking of hitting up Keesus this weekend

According to the Lake Keesus Management District, there's 5 bays: "It is made up of 5 bays - Bull's Bay, Marquardt's Bay, Marshall Bay, North Bay, and Rice's Bay."

Which bays are which?

Was out yesterday, ice drilled clean but was only 4" in Boles Bay. Worked another little inner bay and drilled 3" of crappy ice.
