was out on Tuesday with two friends, tried from 9-4 and were only able to get small pike, all on tip ups and autos. Ended with 9 in total, nothing over 20in. Couldn't find a single pan fish.

Fished for a few hours by myself Sunday 9 -11:30 am (was checking it out before taking the little guy)

Caught many small 3-4" gills and perch but never caught a single one over 5" and had 3 flags all small 10" - 16" northerns. Wax worms for the panfish and med goldens for the northern.

was out there last week, fished all day and caught 20 small northerns. the panfish seemed slow didnt really catch much but maybe it was due to the fact we were running for so many tip ups

Late report: I went out 2 weeks ago with 3 guys. Fished from 10am to 3pm. Jigged for gills on the west end. One real keeper the rest too small for me.

Hi all,

Just to be clear, both Allen and Hartman Lakes (two separate bodies) are flowages on Hartman Creek.

Just got done with a day of ice fishing on Allen Lake.

Had 12 tip-ups out in our group, with seven pike, and probably 14 flags. All fish small - ave. 15", largest maybe 19".

Overall, a good time, on a beautiful lake with hot action but no size. Am sure there are bigger fish in here, but appears for the most part stunted.

Probably would be a good bet for panfish as well, although i have no patience for jigging.

Ice was a bit goofy in spots, but overall, 6-7 inches solid.
