got a late start on saturday.  on the water at 11am.  didn't have high hopes but ended up with a 2 man limit of perch by 130pm.  didn't fish walleyes.  woke sunday to dreary skies.  decided to skip fishing and go home early.  LOTS of boats out on Saturday.

Heading up on the 24th. I was wondering if this is as far north the walleye make it or can I find them as far north as sturgeon bay or egg harbor? I was up 2 weeks ago and found some out from bayshore but would like to fish a little further north due to me staying in egg harbor. Any info is appreciated.

Thank you,

FH

another nice weekend at the dock.  same pattern continues with some perch to be caught down south by red river on minnows and walleyes on the reefs on both worms and cranks.  hope this continues!

well i finished up a weeks vacation up at the dock yesterday.  the weather cooperated nicely.  the southern walleyes seemed to have moved up to the reefs and were eager biters on worms.  a lot of pressure on them last week with the tournament and the pre-fishing, but it didn't seem to effect their biting mood.  did also find some perch down by red river.  all in all, a fun week of fishing.  good luck everybody

got out for about 3 hrs on sunday am and put 3 walleyes in the boat along with a bunch of junk.  i was pulling worms in 25 to 30 feet.  hopefully the lower bay fish are starting to make their way up north

Thanks for the report stratos.           I too have been searching for perch north and south of the dock the last 2 weeks with little show for it. All I can say is the few perch caught are very nice size. Was going to try walleye this week since the reports from lower bay seem good. Sounds like the walleye aren't up this way tho.

well the perch seem to have disappeared since my last post.  hunted all 4th july weekend and this past weekend and didn't really find them.  less than a handful of keepers each outing...decided to try walleye yesterday and boated 1.  yuck.  i hope fishing improves soon.

fished sat and sun out of the dock.  water has warmed to low to mid 70s, but still no walleyes to be found (by me anyway).  fished a couple hours sat am with no luck.  switched to perch and was pleasantly surprised.  put 20ish in the boat saturday and another 20ish sunday before the rain came.  nice average size so far with bulk over 10 inches.  moved around quite a bit.  fished both north and south of the dock in depths from 22 to 32 feet with minnows.  no real concentration of fish anywhere.

fished friday and saturday out of the dock.  first time out since memorial day.  yikes.  tough. tough. tough.  fished all over the place.  north and south.  depths from 10 to 30 feet.  tried the reefs.  got a few sheeps and cats, but no walleyes.  water temps still low 60s.  hopefully the SW winds and warm temps this week will bring in the warm water and with it the walleyes

fished saturday and sunday.  fishing still slow but steady.  managed to put a handful of walts in the box each day.  still on the same 15 to 20fow with flickers pattern.  caught fish both north and south of the dock.  lots of boats out, especially sunday.  didn't see too many nets in the water, but everybody was pretty scattered.
