Craig87...I have not been out to the Bay lately but I did go out on some smaller lakes around my house. All the slush that was there has frozen solid. I am just assuming here, but I am sure it is the same on the Bay. It is a pretty rough, bumpy track when all the slush froze.
Did pretty good on whitefish out of Bayshore park right before the big warm up that turned everything to slush. Haven't been out since. It was work getting out from bayshore but the stubbornness payd off. Not many guys using the park this year so it was easy to stay away from crowds.
I'd like to make the trip back this weekend and bring some of my college friends along that have never been out for whitefish. Can anyone offer an ice update? I would think the slush would have froze up by now with the recent temps. Is the hill solid ice yet, have a little 4-wheeler and have seen guys struggle to get back up!
Good luck all
Ice shoves all over. Doesn't pay to go down the hill....
Don’t try and fish bay shore or Volk,s today. That warm day busted all the ice into small 6” chunks. I don’t know how long it will take to freeze hard enough to walk on.
I can't access the Bayshore launch cam.
Since yesterday when I click on it a sign in box pops up with fields for a username and password?
Anyone else getting this? Any ideas where I can get a username and password?
HOW HAS THE PERCH BITE BEEN LATELY OUT HERE?
Your best bet to find good fishing spots in the area you might be camping is to stop by some bait shops. There's not much reporting on this web sight.......
Hi everyone. I just was wondering if there are any piers that have decent fishing. I have never been in this area and was considering a road trip. Thank you for your help. Have a good day
What's a good bait to use for Walleye's?
WHEN DOES BAYSHORE PARK OPEN FOR PIER FISHING?
