Wandered out this icy morning to try out Friess again.  Struggled in the morning, but hole hopped and found some nice fish.  Marked many, but they were finicky.  I managed a mixed bag of gills, perch, crappies, and one northern.  The northern is my first through the ice ever and I did manage one nice crappie this outing.  All fish are still swimming to see the next spike and jig that drops on them.  Tight Lines.

Fished yesterday, only micro bluegills in the left bay. Found a 2 ft open hole about 30ft from shore. I marked it with two sticks. Marked a lot of fish but not many were biting. Way too many people doing donuts out on the lake. It will be a pain later in the week if the slush freezes.

Can anyone help me find some good panfish/crappie spots on this lake. Just a young guy headed out by myself. All catch and release. Please message me if you can help. Thanks

Out this morning with a nice flurry of crappies, but it died down around 10am.  I switched to target gills and managed over a dozen or so small ones with one 8incher.  As everyone mentioned, the bite is very SLOW.  There were a million holes drilled out and the fish are hugging bottom.  All fish are still swimming. Photo of the best crappie from the morning flurry of 12 crappies.  TightLinez.

Yes you can park in the Wally's and Bee Parking lot and it's free, but they sell bait and snacks inside as well.

Has anyone caught decent size perch on this lake?  There are so many little guys.
