Launch is getting very rough. After tomorrow use good jusdgement on getting on the lake. I found over 9 large schools of fish. Not one bite. Stranger things. I’ve been out here 3 times and caught 1 fish. Not sure what the secret on this lake is lol.

Went out today with my truck. Ice all over the lake was good, but with this warming and rain I advise not to drive on lake anymore. Be careful, the shoreline will be the first to go out. Caught lots of fish in 35' of water. Good action all day. Will probably be back on Thursday. Good Fishing

Did the Crappies ever grow up in the lake? Fished it 10 years ago and they all 7 to 8 inches.

Been fishing same spot all winter, good days and bad days.My go to jig last few years was a green moonglitter this year they wont touch it. Purple, gold, and small chartreuse titanium, small size with 2# test line. 2 spikes hooked through just the skin or 1 wax worm hooked the head, just dangling, squished to get the juices out. Gills tight to the bottom within three feet. Crappies suspended all the way up to 24 feet. Can buy bait at Wally and Beas. GOOD LUCK

Hey there red eye, I was out there I think Thursday. Was the only other person on the lake when you came out, maybe 70 yards from you in the red eskimo flip over and atv.

I was all over that lake from 7-3 & only iced 1 gill. Very, very light bite when I got bites. Terrible year for me. When I was leaving, a guy was telling me u did ok out there.

I about pulled my hair out in frustration! Lol, 70 yards away, same depth, area, & I cant catch nothing! BUT, its great to hear you were catching something of size.. I marked fish all day & everywhere & with such a light bite, I assumed they were all dinks under me.

I think maybe it's time for me to change up my setup as that has to be the problem. Got to be my lb test. I think I've got 4lb and 3lb. Maybe time for 1 or 2 lb test.

What lb test are you using?

Thanks,

Putter1
