Started the day at a different lake. Nothing bitting. My son wanted to stop before we went home. Less then 5 mins on the ice and got a nice little Crappie! It’s always a great day when it ends with a smile!

Wife and I went out from 4:30 to 6:30 and caught a nice crappie and gill as the sun set. Once the sun went down temps dropped and the felt like temp was -15. My four wheeler died on the lake and had to have someone bring me a jump pack for it. Shout out to the guy leaving who gave us a lift to it and offered to pull it back with his four wheeler. Highly recommend starting frequently and bringing out a small jump pack
I've never jigged for pike. What are some good ones to use? I have spoons, raps, lead heads, a few others.
What permit is required at the new landing. Is it the same one used for the madison lakes? I read the sign last year, but can't remember. I think it is the same dane county permit used at olin, marshall, etc... Anyone know?
In all of Dane County...4 wheelers that weigh between 750 lbs. - 850 lbs. require a Sheriff's permit and floats.
Mendota, Monona, and Wingra require all 4 wheelers to have permit and floats.
My 700cc Polaris weighs 740 lbs dry. As a point of reference.
I have seen plenty of atv's on fish lake. Some with floatation some without. Fish Lake is in Dane county and has restrictions that you should look at.
Are ATV's allowed on Fish Lake? Thanks.
Hey is this a private lake? People are saying it’s private what’s the typical bite over there
