Went out Saturday December 8th. Took some moving around as the usual spots didn't mark any fish. We found the fish on the shallow side of the pond and caught bluegills in 4/5/6 feet of water. The fish were scattered, but quick to come look at the jig. Getting them to bite was a bit more challenging. My father, brother, and I left with 12 keepers in around 3 1/2 hours.

Went out yesterday morning caught a few bluegills for a snack the where biting some you had to work for. I spuded my way all the way out to where everyone usually goes and I had 4 inches everywhere I measured
Saw a portable shack out here today at noon and guys walking all over on the ice near the railroad bridge. Not sure how much ice is there.
Trashguy - did you end up fishing at all?

Been in the Dominican for the last week and came home to see the pond locked up. Went to the landing to check it out and someone had already drilled several holes as well as spudded their way across to the trail and out towards the RR bridge. Broke open a hole and measured about 3” with my hand. Can’t believe it.

I got to the pond around 3pm and left at 6ish. The bluegills were biting, but they were all pretty small. I tried all different kinds and colors of jigs but White and Pink seemed to work the best. About 7-8 inches of ice and had the whole pond to myself. I think i will explore this pond a little more this winter.
