That's good to hear, glad you found them. They are very fun to catch
Thank you sir, I got few carps on nightcrawler on the bottom. I found where they move and jump, figure out the pattern and got 3 in an hour. Biggest was around 15-17lb. It's fun catching carp !!!
Thank you. I will try again when the weather is a bit better. About the catfish, I saw few guys catching white bass and they had 1 or 2 catfish in their net. There is catfish for sure, I just have no idea how to catch it.
Im talking about carp, the whole first half of July is when I get out. Usually never more than 2 carp per hour for me, otherwise like you said, it's alot of little perch. I've never caught catfish in the Duck.
Do you talk about carp or catfish? I tried with hook #6 and a big nightcrawler and a sinker all I got was one good sheepshead and a lot of small yellow perch.
Noob, I've always good luck on a big single hook, full crawler and a bell sinker. The key is finding the path they are taking at that spot in the river. I've only ever fished them south of Rivers Bend
61° - 65° F
81° - 88° F
The yellow perch is here. I got few on nightcrawler and 2 on spoon. I see a lot of carp, and some people are getting catfish. I got some sheephead but no carp. The white bass is gone now.
Do you guys know what the carp wants in Duck Creek ? I tried corn, nightcrawler, bread... whatever I got. They just do not want it. Also what are you using to catch catfish? Cutbait ?
Wondering If anyone’s ever fished duck creek for walleye. I would think some would be up in it for the annual run but has anyone targeted it for walleye specifically?
That is cool I checked it on Sat and saw ice at Rivers Bend Landing,I didn't check Deer landing.
