Fished yesterday 7/22/21 8:00 - 3:00 .

Largemouth were biting all day long especially in the morning with cloud cover and calm winds.

All fish in 5 feet of water or less and we’re in the 2-4 pound range.

Just a couple pics of over 10 caught in that size range with also smaller ones biting. Lot of top water action around boat bass chasing minnows to surface.

Fished with Eric Monday morning. Great guy and good fisherman. Our first stop he boated a nice largemouth on his first and second casts. I didn't even get time to get the net out. We proceeded to catch 7 more quality largemouth from that spot. We made a move to some scattered rock and weeds out in 11-14 feet and caught two more. Then it was off to a steeper drop but the fish still seem to be right on the weed edge. Things seemingly have stayed consistent over the past couple weeks as far as location but what is lacking is the big bites. Those numbers of 3-4 pound fish have eluded me the past couple trips. Numbers are still decent averaging 12-20 an outing. One thing I will mention is the fish seem very grouped up. So if you catch one, work that area over thoroughly. There almost always is more. Sometimes alot more. A neko rig and drop shot with small plastics did the heavy lifting again. Tight lines to all. Fishinginfaith.com

Had a couple of great guys with me for a trip Friday morning. Things have certainly slowed down from the previous couple outings, but there is still some bass willing to cooperate. It certainly seems like they have bunched up as alot of good water has not produced. They appear to be in very isolated areas. I cannot duplicate what I've been doing all over the lake. Small finesse plastics and light line continue to be the best pattern I have found to get bit. The weed edges with isolated rock have been the most productive. Like others have said the big fish seem to have disappeared. Most averaging around two pounds. Back at it again Monday so we'll see what she gives up. Have a great weekend everyone. Take care.

Went out early today , kind of a slow day. The bass are all the same size, big ones must be deep?. Caught 5 bass and 4 pike , but a few here, move , 1 here move, nothing , move. Could not find em stacked today . But nice weather early on.

Got out on Delavan yesterday to do some scouting for a guide trip later in the week. Still continuing to find the bass out on the weed edges in 10 to 15 ft of water. Caught around 20 between 14-17". The drop shot has been the consistent producer and also added in the Neko rig yesterday. The baits consisted of a little worm that I hand pour and also a 7-in trick worm. (I attached a pic)Good luck out there!

Fished with Dan and Betty today. This body of water never ceases to amaze Me! Blue gills are avg bigger now in deep water.... 17 to 30ft. We  Caught and released a spawning pair of Gills today. the Female was 10 1/2" and She was full of eggs. I told Betty to cast to the same area and dollars to donuts theres a Giant Male as well....next cast produced a 9 3/4 Male...milk and all. I'm not a fish biologist but to those of you who have  always thought Bluegills only spawn in shallow water...things seem to be changing!! Maybe its Global warming.....LOL!  FYI, This pair came out of 16 ft. There's lots of SMB on the NW Flats in 13 to 25ft. LMB are everywhere it seems.  Use Leeches under slip floats or I like to Dropshot for them. Use your electronics , You won't catch anything if there not really there!!!!  This week was really good...and not very crowded.....this weather keeps a lot of folks away...good time to Fish!
