There is a parking area 1/3 mile from the lake. From there you have to walk down to the lake. In my opinion, it isn’t worth the walk most days. Lots of doinker pike and small gillys.

is there a public boat landing or stream to get to crystal lake
26° - 30° F
21° - 25° F
I fished this lake yesterday with a buddy. Had the entire lake to myself, which was surprising considering that it is not that small. Had a lot of fun, but didn't get too many flags. Ended up with 4 fish, 25" northern, 21" northern, 18" northern, and an 11" largemouth bass. The ice is around 11" thick, which is less than on other lakes I have been to recently, but the ice is all solid and black, without that layer of yellow-white honeycomb ice, so don't let the 11" deceive you.
As far as ATV's go, Im very sure that you would not be able to take one on the lake. The public access, which is extremely hard to find, is a walk-in access only. The lake is very strict about rules like that, so I wouldn't push it. I have fished this lake many times, and although the rules and strictness can be frustrating at times, the beauty of the lake is well worth the little sacrifices.
Good luck to you if you decide to fish the lake.
