Fished for 4 hours, only caught a handful of small perch. Had 4 flags, all took the bait.

Here I thought this lake was going to be my new secret lake, lol. Not so after fishing last Windy Sunday. Landing was full of vehicles. I and another drove on. Lot of small Gills and Crappies, but managed to get 7 that were keep able. Fishing partner had one 9 1/2" Gill, said they get much bigger. I'll be back to haunt it again in nicer condition's. Still on a mission for pound Gills.

Please contact Ross's Sport Shop & Guide Service at 715-339-3625 or Old School Guide Service at 715-339-4209. They should be able to answer your question regarding ice conditions on Cranberry and other Price County area lakes. Anglers have been out fishing east of the Phillips Chamber building on Duroy Lake.

Looking to get some info regarding ice depth. looking to make a trip this weekend but it's a 2 hour drive. Would rather not make the drive if ice isn't fishable in the area. Thanks!

Same old story. Lots of little walleyes for the Indians to spear. New regs. No walleyes from 20-24" only 1 over 24". 3 total. Only came home with 2 crappies, I just couldn't connect on them, but I did catch the 2nd largest, Wisconsin Northern Pike I have ever caught. Came sailing out of the water like a Musky. A real brute with a heavy body. Saw the warden out there, nice guy.

Is it possible to drive out to the main part of the lake with a 4 wheel drive truck? My kids have been itching to go to Cranberry for the last couple years and any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Java
