And the last time I was up there, 1-7-20, there was 14" of ice and I drove on. FYI.
We have a cabin east of Clam and haven't really fished it for walleye but have caught northerns and panfish on there through the ice. I usually get on and fish on the south end, around Cumberland Point. Landing is on the west side. Stop in at Big Mike's Bait Shop at the narrows on Highway 70 and they'll point you in the right direction.
What part of the lake have the walleye been caught on? i normally fish the section where the river comes in and hardly ever run into them.
the family and I are heading up to Cumberland this week and was looking to fish this lake for the first time so if anyone could give me some tips that would be great. Thanks !

The walleye fishing has been phenomenal! We have taken multiple limits of Wallayes from this lake each time we have been out. We have not been out since the snow.
How's walleye bite on clam this year, how much ice?
