Had a decent day fishing from Chaoudoir's towards Sugar Creek and beyond.  Fair catch of walleye in 14 - 20' depths pulling crawler harnesses at around 1.4 mph.  Color didn't seem to matter.  Couple of channel cats and of course several sheeps.

Tried for perch. 2 different boats. ZERO perch. Great for garbage. white perch, sheephead, catfish, goby's. fished from straight out of Chaudoirs 21-31ft. Then north to county K 24-33ft. Moved multiple times. Fished for 4 hours 7-11am. Many boats out but everyone moving. Tried rosies, fatheads, crawlers.

not a report and not a testimonial on driving conditions. all I will say is that if you want to fish 40 feet, chaudoir's is not the place to start. there is at least 5 miles of driving to get to 40 feet. I would probably drive out from somewhere north of chaudoirs
