Checked on a couple lakes around the siren and webster area, most are right around 9-10in of ice and a few like Clam and Yellow are a bit more
Below 40° F
21° - 25° F
61° - 65° F
71° - 75° F
Water temp today ranged between 63-67 from the lake I was on, bass were shallow some biting while others would just look. Great time of the year to sight fish
Yes both people were okay they got help from some others and had to kick out the back window of the SUV. At this point most lakes in the area have about 10-12 inches but still be safe and check before going out
Was everyone ok? Most lakes in the area should have 6-8 by now with all the cold weather. We went up last weekend and had 5-7 on a small private lake
Just wanna let people know a car went through on Big Wood lake so be careful. I would say most lakes are around 5-8in of ice
Drive around the siren area today and saw people fishing on Crooked,Clam and Doctor. I didn't drill a hole so I cant say specifically how much ice but I know from the past Clam lake freezes very quick on the south end
I saw pictures of guys in Hayward fishing, average over the last 4 days is around 18 degrees. That should create at least 4 inchs of solid ice. Some of the smaller lakes may have stayed locked up during that warm spell. Where are you fishing?
Anyone know how the ice is up here or if there is any?
