they were yesterday....don't use the east ramp.big rock pile about 3/4 the way down the pier.they should have it closed off.
Anybody know if the pier is still in at Fischer Park?
I think the introduction of walleye to the lake has had a huge impact on the panfish population also. I presently have kept a couple of walleye out of brown both fish super fat and filled with bluegills and crappie.
People keeping limits of panfish is also a problem.
Shane Rushing & Gray Fox , I have had the same results as you. I fish Brown's Lake a lot and this is the worst year I can remember for a long time. The last few years have been exceptional for panfish. The same thing happened on Eagle a few years ago. I think the DNR is taking fish from Brown's to stock other lakes. They finally admitted they took fish from Eagle to stock other lakes after a few years. Don't understand why the DNR thinks they have to hide or deceive people when they do this. In fact I don't know why they cannot announce that.
Was out Sunday. Only a couple small gills working the weedlines with red worms. Also tried and find the crappies with minnows didn't find any.
Bluegill action very slow.. looking for Crappies, no where to be found. Anyone having any luck?
Went out yesterday between 7am-11am 3 of us......all fish CPR......6 LM bass, largest 2 lbs........4 SM Bass, largest 2 lbs....and 6 small Snake northerns. Did not find any walleyes. Most fish caught 12 15 ft.
Tight lines all
Yes, but you have to look for em. We were out earlier this week with a buddy that lives out there and did well. A nice Bass and small walleye as well. Kept enough gills for a meal and CPR'd the rest. Tight lines.
Have the bluegill bite picked up on the lake..
