Good to hear that ya got one Dick! Got a pic? For the deep rock piles, maybe try a heavy bulldawg.

Got 1 nice ski in June about 36" -40" didn't measure. I was out this weekend had one small one 24"-30" hit crankbait then shook loose. It was probably the slowest fishing i've had here all year. Got 1 small eye, more smallies than largemouth nothing big. Tried looking deep for fish but had trouble finding structure deeper than 15-20 feet. Any one out there with any tips for deeper rock piles?

You guys are correct about the alcohol and the 100' dock rules. I confirmed with a DNR employee. Thanks for setting me str8 guys, and I apologize for the snide remarks Cool

Anybody catch a musky here yet this year?????

I believe the rules on the posting apply to the public launch site, not the entire lake. And the 100' rule is for operating a boat at more tham idle speed.

Actually guys...the rules that I mentioned (no alcohol & no fishing within 100 feet from docs) DO exist. The rules are posted at the public boat launch. See the attached pics (the rule about fishing within 100 yards from docks that is posted at the top of the billboard is cut off from pics damnit!). In the future, maybe you should read the posted regs before going fishing!

Anyways, a few friends and I fished Big Siss on Sunday. Boated a pike and some bass, but no muskies. My buddy raised a BIG musky but it did not strike.

I remember seeing a sign posting these rules near the boat launch when I was on the lake last year (or so I thought), and figured the rules remained the same. I know that these rules were in effect for Sand Lake last year, and I could have sworn that the rules applied to Sissabagama, too. I guess I'm wrong, but will definitely look for the rules next time I go back to Siss. My bad guys! Doh!

If that's the case, I'm in trouble every time I head out!

Actually, there are no such rules.
