Was out the last 2 nights after work. Fished anywhere from 8-18 fow and only managed one miniature walleye. Ice was around 15" everywhere I checked. There weren't many people out.

Was up there this past weekend.  Ice looked really sketchy by boat landing but it looks iced over all the way. I would guess not safe at all but maybe by the end of this week's forecast.  Other lakes up there had 3.5-4 in certain areas from what I saw

Went and tried for Musky Sat morning. Lots of boats doing the same thing. didn't raise a fish, saw some big bass in the shallows though. Warmest water I saw was about 67.

Just spent a week on this lake and found perch, gills, smallies and walleye. It wasn't an easy lake to fish, even though it is small. The rusty crawfish are all over and there are so many small perch that you have to sort a lot of fish for a fish fry. There is no trolling on this lake and that makes it tougher to cover a lot of water. The muskies were not cooperating and the walleye were okay when it was overcast and the wind was coming across the lake. There is some structure in the lake, but our best bite came on inside weed edges and anchored- not drifting like I was told. They did have a preference for crawlers and the water was very clear. Not a lot of fishing pressure on this lake due to it's size, but it was a nice place to spend a week of vacation.
