If i ever see a snagger, I will address them nbs. If that doesn't work, I also keep an extra rod in the car for trouble lol. it has 20lb braided line on it. I would just cast over their lines and tangle everything up nicely then just cut my line and get back to fishing. I used to always do this to fly fishermen lmao. it works!!!

Anyone seeing fish or having any luck?
Any spots on the main lake where I’d have luck finding some carp to shoot? Looking to thin out the population for the gamefish! Any landings or good sand flats or cattail areas would be great! Thanks!
Start video taping these people n turning their a$$ in. Kids or not. N when DNR show up get their names n pushh that they do their jobs. Last year i turned couple people in with proof n dnr said he has the ability to press charges or not so i just walked away angry. Than i thought I have the right to got to dnr office n put in a complaint. They told me get name time n place.
Reba’s daddy. If you’re talking about Saturday evening, I saw the entire incident. They were snagging. They were tossing crank baits to the other side where fish were stacked against the rocks, and ripped their lure quickly. If they didn’t snag a fish they’d quickly reel in the lure and repeat the process
i think the guy could have called the warden and let them deal with it, but I appreciate him standing up for our natural resources getting abused.
Any one know who the guy is who harrasses people fishing and accuses every one of snagging/fishing illegally?Saw him harrassing a group of young men recently, accusing them of snagging when they were jig/minnow fishing. He even tried to release one of the walleyes they caught legally.Every other word from him is the f-bomb.Why doesn`t local law enforcement or dnr put a stop to this. This happens almost daily. Not getting involved.Learned to mind my own business years ago.
With fairly low water temps I doubt it did much to the fish. There's a lot of oxygen there from the flow that will hold them for a day. If we're lucky it beached a few carp though.
Question, what happened to the fish when they shut the Dam off Tuesday morning to get that car out? They had no choice obviously.....
Have fished the river below the dam for 20+ years, below the dam is 5/15, all year, the lake itself is 3/18 after the first weekend in May.
Fished for a while tonight and got one legal. 20". Lost about a 17" as I was reaching for the net and got a short 14.5". The gates on the public side were open and it was a bit fast tonight to be real productive with the cold and the rain. It made it hard to keep the bait in the non-carp eddies for long before being swept along the shore. I had to fish it super slow to get bit. Little hops and pause.
