Trout are usually caught right off the boat landing, probably because that's where their stocked/released and those are brood stock keep in mind, so naturally their already good size. Caught a lot of small crappies out in the general area you fished last season. Sounds like there's nice fish in there, but probably limited number's. Get's a lot of pressure from what I know and heard. Walleye's I'm not too sure on the overall population. Talked to one guy last year and said his sister caught a 12" Gill that spring/summer of 2018.

You may be fishing the wrong bass lake if your looking for walleye.

I tried out this lake on Saturday, it is not worth it. This lake is over run by a bunch of small gills. I caught 2 crappies that were 9in, 3 bass about 12-13in that just inhaled my big shiners on the tipup. Where's the walleyes and big trout everyone keeps talking about? I fished the bay straight across the boat landing and the island to the right.
