Crystal Lake has a brook trout population that is supported by natural reproduction. Along with the great scenery, Crystal Lake offers access to hiking trails and camping opportunities. The use of baitfish is prohibited to help protect the brook trout fishery.

ANGLING OPPORTUNITIES
Anglers have success catching brookies using various techniques. Fly anglers like using dry flies during the morning and evening hours. One suggested fly during the daylight hours would be a light cahill. Anglers using spinning gear have success using inline spinners and small silver spoons.
