Copake Lake is located in Columbia County, New York. This lake is 410 acres in size. It is approximately 34 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Pumpkinseed.
Moderate rooted aquatic vegetation.
Cartop launch located on the southeast side of the lake. The launch is accessible by Lakeview Road or County Route 7.

Copake Lake has a large warmwater fishery. Largemouth and smallmouth bass over 15 inches are plentiful. Both species have been caught in the 3 - 6 lb range. The lake has a quality and abundant panfish population. Occasionally black crappie catches measure 10 inches or greater. The lake also has large populations of yellow perch and white perch with averages measuring 10 - 12 inches. Anglers may also catch the occasional walleye. Permitted.
