History & Status of the Fishery
Three trap nets were set at Lake Elysian on 18 April 2023 to assess winterkill. Yellow Perch were abundant and spawning. Bullheads were also abundant. One adult crappie was sampled. No Walleye were sampled. Many dead carp were still visible along the shorelines.
