History & Status of the Fishery
Very poor. No game species caught or seen. Bullheads were mainly very small; and when seining we caught minnows only and when released they all died. Same with the bullheads, even in trapnets they would die.

This is a strange little lake. I only fished it one time and found that it is loaded with LM bass all under 8". You could throw almost any lure in the water and it would be immediately attacked by a dozen or so of these hungry little bass. As far as I could determine there were only bass in that lake and all must have been stunted as their heads were much too large for their bodies. An hour or so of catching one after another of the little critters we gave it up and left. It might be more fun with a light fly rod.
