HISTORY AND STATUS OF FISHERY

THIS WALLEYE POPULATION IS SUPPORTED THROUGH (POSSIBLY) NATURAL REPRODUCTION, AND (POSSIBLY) MOVEMENT INTO THE LAKE FROM TUCKER LAKE, WHICH IS STOCKED WITH WALLEYE FRY REGULARLY. GROWTH IS SLOW, AND WALLLEYE NUMBERS ARE LOW. THERE IS A FAIRLY GOOD YELLOW PERCH POPULATION PRESENT, AND RELATIVELY LOW NUMBERS OF NORTHERN PIKE AND SUCKERS.
